About the founder

I make memories last.

Sandro Ortolani

I founded Posimo after more than three decades spent preserving what time takes from us. Photography let me hold a moment. Body casting gave presence a physical form. Posimo brings both ideas together, keeping the memories, meaning, and personality of a life close.

The story behind Posimo
One continuous pursuit

From an image, to a form, to a living memory.

Capturing feelings and moments since 1996

For over three decades as a photographer, I have had the privilege of witnessing them all. The joyful moments, the sad ones, the funny ones, the deeply emotional ones, and the carefully staged ones. Photography taught me that time changes the value of a moment. What feels ordinary today may become precious tomorrow.

Turning presence into something tangible

Body casting began in 2015 as a natural response to what my clients were asking for. During a dog photoshoot, one question changed the direction of my work: “Can you make a cast of my dog’s paw?” That request opened a new way to preserve presence, texture, and scale. It all started there.

Giving memories a future

The idea for Posimo began in early 2023, as AI was opening possibilities that had once felt unreachable. I saw a future in which technology could do more than answer questions. It could remember with us, grow through shared experience, and carry what matters forward. As those possibilities became real, I could finally bring Posimo to life for the world.

Creator of memories

Eternity is not about freezing the past.It is giving what mattered a way to remain present.

Posimo is built to carry a life forward with context and care. Not every moment needs to last forever but the meaningful ones deserve the chance.
